Membership & Getting Involved

Our GBMs are held every other Tuesday during the school year from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Templo Mayor Suite (2nd Floor of the Student Union).

We encourage everyone to come out and join us as we talk about our clinic, host workshops, and bring in guest speakers from all over the medical field. Please take a look at our events page to seewhen we will be holding our next GBM. Flying Samaritans is an amazing way to connect with a community of passionate students dedicated to expanding access to care in underserved areas.
Active Membership Requirements

$15 Dues Per Semester

Attend 4 GBMs (or 3 GBMs + 1 Clinic)
-
Participate in 4 Fundraisers

Clinic Eligibility
* To be eligible for clinic each month, you must either participate in the monthly fundraiser/drive OR Venmo $10 to @FS-SDSU
Clinic Dues:

$10 gas donation
-
$10 pharmacy donation
-
$15 active membership fee
-
$20 for scrubs (for first time clinic attendees only)

Cancellation Policy
Canceling after the selected volunteer list is sent out

Regular volunteer (non-driver): Not eligible for the next upcoming clinic

Driver: Not eligible for the following 2 clinics

Canceling the morning of clinic, no call, no show

Regular volunteer (non-driver): Not eligible for the following 2 clinics

Driver: Not eligible for the following 3 clinics
*Exceptions to penalties can be made due to extenuating circumstances decided by executive board*
